Gilles Julien, l’art de la pédiatrie
The Paediatrician Gilles Julien has a mission : helping children, especially the poor ones. This strong-minded man stopped practicing in office to go to Africa, where he denounced corruption. He then went to Great North where he defended the idea of a social medicine that is closer to the communities and more accessible for them. Today, he works at the Centre d’assistance aux enfants en difficulté (Assistance center for children in difficulties), which is located in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Montréal.
