SMOKED SIGNALS is a quirky sketch comedy series that takes an aboriginal perspective on Canadian television. Featuring such spoofs as “The Price is White”, “Kanata AM”, and “The Overly-Friendly Giant”, the show pokes light-hearted fun at Canadians and aboriginal people alike. Centered on an elderly native couple that accidentally ingests marijuana while watching television, the show cuts back and forth from their silly antics to those of the television characters they are watching. The result is a hilarious half-hour of slide-splitting sketch comedy.
